Shrink Wrap Encapsulation

Shrink wrap encapsulation creates a temporary barrier around scaffold providing weather protection and environmental containment enabling our clients to avoid delays caused by changes in weather or to reduce waste going into the air from activities such as grit blasting.

Shrink wrap can be installed to create temporary roofs or wrap elevations of scaffolding to form a drum-tight covering. While no sheeting can provide a 100% guarantee against water ingress our shrink wrap is chosen by our clients because it can create a containment by forming a seal around a scaffolding by wrapping around a tube and heat welding the sheet back on to itself. The entire sheet is then heat shrunk 'drum tight' using a shrink wrapping gun. Our 300μm scaffold shrink-wrap sheeting is manufactured specifically for heavy-duty applications and can also be modified with the addition of a zip door with self-adhesive zips, allowing access to a site by workers or heavy plant, which can be resealed to maintain the integrity of the seal. 300μm shrink wrap is especially suited to construction projects to meet weather protection and containment applications in construction.

Shrink wrap also enhances the external appearance of a scaffold giving a professional looking covering. Our sheeting is 100% recyclable, flame retardant certified to TS62, TS63, BS EN 13501 Class B & M1 European standards.
